What is the Saga Sakura Marathon?
The Saga Sakura Marathon features one of the flattest courses in the country, allowing runners to enjoy scenery such as rows of cherry blossom trees, the Yoshinogari Historical Park, and vast rural landscapes where the breeze is visible. Come and experience the feeling of spring in Saga!

FAQ
- Are there changing facilities?
- SAGA Arena will serve as the changing area. Men should use the main arena, and women should use the sub-arena.
- Are there lockers available?
- Generally, lockers are not provided.
We will only hold valuables inside the changing room. Items accepted for safekeeping must fit into the provided bag (an envelope measuring 33 cm x 24 cm); there is a limit of one bag per person.
For other belongings, please place them all together in the provided bag, affix the “luggage sticker” so that the number is clearly visible, and leave the bag inside the changing room.
- How many drink stations are there?
- We plan to set up 16 water stations along the course.
- Is there athlete registration on the day before the event or on the day of the event?
- Please check in at the “Help Desk” at the venue on the day before the event or on the day of the event itself. (March 20, 2027 (Sat): 10:00–17:00; March 21 (Sun): until 8:00)
- Can I run in costume?
- Please ensure that you do not violate public order or morals.
Running while carrying items that cover your entire body or pose a risk of injuring other runners is prohibited.
